Applications:

The metal clad cable is an electrical wire designed for use in power lines not exceeding 600 Volts. The MC wire has an operational temperature rating of up to 90°C in dry locations. The cable is armored with an aluminum interlocking strip, which offers great mechanical protection. The MC aluminum armored wire also has a green à isolation grounding conductor. This electrical cable is lightweight and therefore, not labor-intensive, which makes it a cost-effective option over other piped wire installations.
